About Dr. Owei

Lily Owei is a PGY3 categorical resident in General Surgery. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a BA in Biology. She received her medical degree from The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she conducted research on surgical education and equity curriculua, as well as outcomes and disparities. Her clinical interests include surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgery, and her research interests include health equity, outcome disparities and medical/surgical education.
