About Dr. Omar

Omar is a PGY3 resident in general surgery. He was born in Dundee, Scotland and grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate studies in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and attended the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. While in medical school, he conducted translational research in immuno-oncology and hopes to conduct basic science or translational research in the future. Omar is interested in academic colorectal surgery or surgical oncology.
