About Dr. Bader

Amanda Bader graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior. She then received her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2019. Her research interests include surgical decision-making and behavioral economics. She plans to pursue a career in Endocrine Surgery.

Research

Dr. Bader’s investigative efforts span surgical oncology, endocrine surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and bariatric surgery. During her lab tenure, she served as a Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation. Concurrently, she became the Editor-in-Chief of the Penn Evidence-Based Literature Review (PEBLR) and continues that role today.
