About Dr. Tortorello
Gabriella Tortorello is a categorial resident in general surgery. She graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art. She then earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. As a medical student, she conducted research on long term outcomes for penetrating trauma patients and on disparities in surgical outcomes more broadly. She plans to pursue a career in Academic Surgery.
