About Dr. Roberson

Jeffrey Roberson is a categorical resident in general surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia and received his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Throughout medical school, he conducted basic science research on the molecular and genetic basis of hidradenitis suppurativa and outcomes research in bariatric surgery and medical education. His clinical and professional interests include colon and rectal surgery, medical education, and quality improvement.

During his research time, Jeff is working with Dr. Lillias Maguire on a variety of genomic and translational studies with particular interest in pilonidal sinus disease and other benign conditions of the colon and rectum. He is also one of the administrative residents for the general surgery program.
