About Dr. Neylan

Christopher Neylan is a categorical resident in general surgery. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, during which time he was also a highly productive clinical outcomes researcher. His lab time is focused on understanding the genetic risk for diverticulitis and on the completion of a Master of Science in Translational Research. He plans to pursue a career in academic colorectal surgery.
