About Dr. De Jesus

Dr. De Jesus is a PGY3 categorical resident in General Surgery. She graduated from Temple University and received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She has received multiple awards for her interest in community service projects which focus on increasing awareness and access to higher education. Her interests include mentorship, health equity/policy and surgical oncology. More specifically, she is interested in improving health outcomes in underrepresented communities as it relates to screening and surgical management of malignancies. She plans to pursue a career in academic surgery.
