About Dr. Moreno

Natalie Moreno is a PGY3 in general surgery and an aspiring pediatric surgeon, with an interest in fetal surgery. Her most recent research has focused on pediatric irritable bowel disease. She is passionate about surgical volunteerism and advocating for underrepresented in medicine through narrative. Her opinion pieces and viewpoints have been published in KevinMD, The American Journal of Surgery, and Annals of Surgery. She is also cofounder of two pipelines to increase mentorship in a virtual age: APGAR (Alliance of Pediatric Surgeons Growing and Advancing Representation) and MASKING UP.
