About Dr. Jeoffrey
Dr. Syeda Manahil Jeoffrey is a PGY-2 resident in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Jeoffrey was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She received her medical degree from Ziauddin Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. Prior to joining University of Pennsylvania, she completed her first year at Rutgers NJMS and her sub internships at Washington University in St. Louis as well as at Yale- New Haven Hospital. She also completed her post-doctoral research fellowship at the Aortic Institute at Yale University where her work focused on uncovering the genetic overlap between thoracic diseases and studying the natural history of aortic aneurysms. Her current clinical interests include surgical oncology and trauma surgery, and she plans to pursue a career in academic surgery.
