About Dr. Ding
James (Jimmy) Ding is a PGY3 resident in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His interests include LGBTQ urologic care and improving cultural competency in medical education.

Research
Jimmy has conducted research in fields including pediatric urology and urologic oncology, and authored his medical school capstone project on how urology departments interact with gender-affirming EHR systems. He hopes to continue these research interests in addition to exploring additional topics within health disparities and policy.
