The Women’s Health Center for Clinical Innovation (WHCCI) at Penn Medicine is the first of its kind in the country. Established by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021, WHCCI’s vision is to drive improvements in patient health and healthcare delivery by utilizing innovative approaches including rapid cycle iterations, digital health and implementation science. The Center offers a variety of programs and resources to aid providers, trainees, and staff in the development of innovative solutions, including project management, consultation, mentorship, monthly events and programming.  It also administers the Richard and Carolyn Sloane Innovation Award to provide seed funding for innovation projects.
