  • Discuss coping strategies used in ongoing quit plans
  • Re-establish medications as a mechanism for managing threats
  • Explore the relationship between compulsive eating and nicotine withdrawal

Content

  1. Discuss progress of quit plans
  2. Continue to establish a comfortable environment for participants to voice their experiences
  3. Address fear of failure as an impediment to cessation
  4. Develop coping strategies for lapse
  5. Explore emotional consequences of both initiating abstinence and failure to initiate abstinence.
  6. Discuss healthy eating and exercise plans.
