Penn Medicine's Information Services team ranked (9th) among the top 10 of all entries and first among health care entrants in this year's InformationWeek Elite 100, an annual list of the best U.S.-based users of business technology for its implementation and use of PennSeek, a self-service, web-based data discovery platform.

Healthcare Informatics Innovator Awards Co-Third-Place Winner: Research data warehouse empowers the learning health system with PennOmics. Our physicians and researchers can gain access in one unified platform to massive amounts of anonymous, aggregate patient data from millions of electronic health records and cancer genomics data from stand-alone data-collection systems.

The 2015 Most Wired Survey distinguishes Penn Medicine for their use of technology throughout the health system.

HealthCare's Most Wired: Innovation Award Winner H&HN also honored Information Services with the 2015 Innovator Award for the team's work in developing and implementing a Mobile Patient Dashboard. Developed with clinical staff in mind, the Mobile Patient Dashboard app provides quick access to electronic medical records through an easy-to-use interface.

The Digital Edge 25 Award was given for leveraging digital technology in an innovative way. A Penn Medicine team created a mobile electronic medical record patient dashboard that consolidates real-time patient data from multiple clinical IS systems here at Penn.
