Awards and Accolades Received in 2017

The Most Wired Survey distinguishes Penn Medicine for their use of technology throughout the health system.

The Digital Edge 50 Award was given for leveraging digital technology in an innovative way. A Penn Medicine team created a mobile electronic medical record patient dashboard that consolidates real-time patient data from multiple clinical IS systems here at Penn.  This award is produced by IDG Enterprise media brands CIO and Computerworld and the CIO Executive Council.

HealthShare Exchange 2017 Champion Award recipient- Congrats to Penn Medicine for contributions made to our regional health information exchange (HSX). Steady efforts have ensured that Penn Medicine is well represented across many HSX committees. Through our efforts, Penn Medicine is gaining valuable benefits from the exchange in support of the provision of patient care.
