Daniel Du Pont, MD, MBE grew up in Wayne, PA. He studied Math and Physics with a minor in Spanish at Cornell University, and was a volunteer EMT with both his local fire department and Cornell EMS. He received his medical degree and Masters of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been an active prehospital clinician since 2011, and became certified as a prehospital physician while completing his residency in emergency medicine at Penn. To finish his training, Dan served as a fellow in EMS and Disaster Medicine at Cooper University Hospital. Most recently, Dan rejoined Penn Emergency Medicine as an attending at Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Hospitals.
