The Minority House Staff Council (MHC) was established in an effort the improve the recruitment and retention of residents who are traditionally underrepresented in Internal Medicine. The committee members include current house staff and a faculty advisor.
The MHC’s primary goals include:
- Active involvement in recruitment and outreach to prospective applicants from diverse backgrounds
- Providing mentorship and support for current trainees
- Fostering a welcoming and inclusive community among the house staff
